He started and Ended with it, why can’t you??????

Hi everyone!!!! I must say; I surprise myself most times!! I didn’t expect to write or have an entry for this month but here I am.
First I’d like to give my condolences to Nigeria (because seriously that’s what It all boils down too) and the families who lost a part of their own in the August 26th UN bomb blast; no family has the right to go through that. The Lord will be the father to the fatherless and the comforter will comfort and heal the nation as a whole because sincerely we need SERIOUS HEALING! Don’t even let me get started on Jonathan and his sluggish leadership skills, the guy seems clueless Issssshhhhh!!!
So this month I’m talking about my struggles, I’m not going to talk about forgiveness ‘cos sincerely I am not really feeling forgiving……..but hey; that word FEELING is where the problem lies! You don’t have to feel like forgiving before you forgive o; just imagine when you ask God for forgiveness and he says……well: “taemy I’m not in a forgiving mood today” (that’s a big disaster o); so my advice is, forgive even when you don’t feel like not for the other person (call me selfish) but for yourself.
Have you ever felt like you needed a pause button in your life? If your answer is yes; (cleaning sweat as a sign of relief) then you aren’t alone, infact the master of the universe needed the pause button and got it (check Luke 5: 16 if you think what I just wrote is ludicrous). Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed so why can’t we? I just feel sometimes we need to stop in our tracks not only for evaluation or a pat on the back but for us to refill.
“The heart of Christ became a reservoir in the midst of the mountains. All the tributary streams of iniquity and every drop of the sins of his people, ran down and gathered into one vast lake, deep as hell and shoreless as eternity. All these met, as it were in Christ’s heart and he endured them all.” – Charles Spuregeon.
That’s how much HE wants us to come to HIM in prayer.  It is very important to pray to God about everything and anything afteral he sees them all; you are more important than a sparrow and yet they eat, you’re more precious than the lilies and yet Solomon’s clothes with all his splendor couldn’t outshine the lilies of the field (matt 6:29).
this should be you; God loves when you come like this to HIM

Has science taken over you? Have you lost the recipee for true spirituality? Prayer is exhaling the spirit of man and inhaling the spirit of God. The most valuable gift anyone can be given in this world comes easy yet Forbes doesn’t record it, this gift is the name of Jesus; ask Peter who gave it and the Lame man at gate ‘beautiful’ who received it! The best attorney in life comes free, the only thing required is the choice/decision to have that attorney, his name is Jesus, the advocate. What do you consider as eternal? your precious diamonds or to die for car, or a life time with christ? think about it and decide! Prayer to me is like a master key (that reminds me of the song they taught me in sunday school as a child) that opens any door; is it for wisdom=prayer, is it for God’s presence=prayer, is it for divine provision, open doors and health?= prayer (reminds me of the passage…..”i wish above all things that thou may prosper and be of good health even as thy soul  prospereth”), is it for repentance=prayer (i’m thinking Isaiah 1:18 “come now, let us reason together says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet they shall be white as snow…..” NIV translation)
“to be a christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.”- Martin Luther”
My purpose on this earth is to be a living sacrifice. Holy and acceptable unto God but sometimes I feel like I (the sacrifice) am struggling for the knife to the One who wants me to be that pleasing sacrifice; my solution is this: I pray not formally but in thoughts (believe me it WORKS) and it is really quite humbling. I also learnt in the cause of this one month that’s almost gone that I should learn to be Christ-conscious and not Sin-conscious for it is by grace and not by works we are saved henceFORGIVEN!!!! (Ephesians 2:8).
Remember: “no one is a firmer believer in the power of prayer than the devil; not that he practices it, but he suffers from it.” – Guy H. King
September is fast coming to an end, so it’s October that is kicking in; I hope I can keep up with God on what he has in stock for me ‘cos he said in one of the verses of the love letter Psalm that he DAILY loads us with BENEFITS!!!! Emphasis on the word “daily” so go grab your copy NOW!!!!
N.B: success after prayer is soo good, you’ve got to be conscious and be careful of pride creeping in.
Do have a great rest of the month.
