We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!”
1 Corinthians 13:12 MSG
Have you tried driving early in the morning with a bad wiper? Early like 5am early, well i have been a front seat passenger, light from the other cars mix with uncleared water and so much reflection, if you don’t drive slowly it is surely a recipe for an accident. When you are driving through a fog, you are unsure of what’s in front of you, there’s doubt in every accelerator. What happens when the weather clears? You drive confidently knowing that you can see clearly.
That’s how it is with us, when going through life, you don’t have the whole picture, you are unsure navigating through the fog of life, unsure of what may spring up that will have you needing to step on the brakes. Then there’s going through life with the Omniscient, you are on cruise, He knows the deer that will spring up on your way in 5minutes, the pothole that just formed, the lady that will cross the road even before she decides to cross it, He knows!
Remember John 1:1-5?- in Him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shineth in darkness…That’s the light referred to as the sun shinning, walking with God just clears it all, believing in Him and trusting His plans for you are way better than the plan you have for yourself will help you hand over the wheel of your life to God.
Hands off the steering wheel and let Jesus take over, it comes from constantly studying His love letter (the bible), else how can you claim an inheritance you don’t know exists? 😉😉
