“By an act of faith, Abel brought a better sacrifice to God than Cain. It was what he believed, not what he brought, that made the difference. That’s what God noticed and approved as righteous. After all these centuries, that belief continues to catch our notice.”
Hebrews 11:4 MSG
What’s your act of Faith? Recently my mind has been drifting to the old testament, i mean they had to listen to a God tell them to do something so out of the norm and they did it. I want to believe it was somewhat easy for the new testament peeps to have faith, afteral some saw the Lord roam the earth. But you have to give it to Abel, he paid his tithe in faith because he believed God will accept his sacrifice…God sure did afteral his blood cried and God heard the blood. Then Abraham’s blind obedience, first to move to an unknown place then to sacrifice the much awaited son, move over to Jacob who knew of God and wrestled in faith that something good ought to come out of the struggle (that’s where Pray Until Something Happens originated from in my opinion). David is just awesome and then Isaiah, who named Christ before His appearance 🙄, and you are left wondering, you have your bible as a guide, but where is your act of Faith.
Faith comes out of total confidence that it will be sorted, as a salaried worker your faith to plan oftentimes come from the confidence that your salary will sha be paid on the agreed date no matter what. That’s man made faith, pause this mid working week , challenge yourself ask the HolySpirit to expose you to the truth of God’s vastness and depth of love concerning you and work like you are living a script- the God script that God has written for you.
Man says don’t put all your egg in one basket, faith says put all your eggs in one basket (God’s basket) and count your blessings before they hatch! Need something from God it’s all in His word, read, meditate, declare it, and testify in advance. Do that and get on the devil’s nerves 😂😂😂😂 i am doing that.
Welcome to the Faith side of life😙
