Lyrics and Me!

musicnmeIt’s a new month and I am super stoked. The devil has got nothing on me, I had a drama filled morning but nothing can stop my joy #JustSaying

I love music- that’s a fact; I am yet to hear a genre I don’t love. Ranging from metallic rock to smooth jazz and everything in between, I love ’em all.

music-and-me

For a while; I have been toying with the idea of sharing my love for music and good lyrics with you (my dear readers) and it’s just the perfect time. A lot of thought goes into writing a song, these days.

Have you listened to some songs that just takes you straight to the throne room where you talk to God, others have you speak in tongues, praising God for who He is and His awesomeness, some lyrics just opens the floodgates because what you feel from the song can’t be fully expressed.

I will be sharing lyrics of Christian songs (from all around the world) and my interpretation with you, what area in my/your life the song can address. So introducing (drumroll)- the #Lyricsandme category on my blog, this will be posted every Friday, make it a date.

Do you know any Christian song that you’d like me to review (not critic), please feel free to mention in the comment section or send me an email.

This Friday, stay tuned as I review this song by Nathaniel Bassey Feat Unwana Bassey Jumoke Oshoboke:

like a symphony
all in harmony
we will raise you a sound

it’s a sound of love
for no other one
but the one we adore

like a symphony
all in harmony
we will raise you a sound
it’s a sound of love
for no other one
but the one we adore

Yahweh Yahweh
the most High God
the most High God

Yahweh Yahweh
the most High God
the most High God

To God we are the aroma of Christ among those who are saved and among those who are dying.- 2 Corinthians 2:15

In all we do, may our praises be as a sweet smelling savour to God. #Lyricsandme
